Thanks to the initiation and organization of Mr. Farid Dabaghi (Chairman of Abu Dhabi Terry Fox Run), and the co-operation of Nadi Shabeebat Al Marj and Saint Georges Orthodox Church, Easter Egg Cracking tradition was revived in Jdeida.
This event used to take place in the Main Square on Easter Sunday morning and had been forgotten for over fifty years
